Please read these terms carefully before using the Halo chatbot platform. By using our Service, you agree to be bound by the conditions below.
By accessing or using the Halo chatbot platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and clients who embed or interact with Halo-powered chatbots.
Halo provides an AI-powered chatbot platform that allows businesses ("Clients") to embed conversational assistants on their websites. End users interact with these chatbots to get information about the Client's products or services.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
The Service is designed and optimized for content-based websites, including service businesses, agencies, real estate, and informational sites. The chatbot answers visitor questions based solely on content provided by the Client for training purposes.
The Service does not currently support transactional or e-commerce use cases, including but not limited to: real-time product availability, inventory lookups, order tracking, payment processing, or cart management. Clients deploying the Service for e-commerce or transactional purposes acknowledge that such functionality is outside the current scope and may produce incomplete or inaccurate results.
Halo is continuously developing new capabilities. Supported use cases may expand over time and will be communicated through updates to these Terms or the Service documentation.
To access the Halo control panel, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your credentials confidential.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at chatbot@agencybyhalo.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You may not use the Service to:
• Violate any applicable law or regulation • Transmit spam, malicious code, or harmful content • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts • Use the Service for any unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent purpose
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without prior notice.
Clients who embed Halo chatbots on their websites are responsible for ensuring their use of the Service complies with applicable laws, including privacy laws in their jurisdiction. Clients must maintain an up-to-date privacy policy on their own websites disclosing the use of AI chat tools.
Clients are responsible for the accuracy of content they provide for chatbot training and knowledge base construction.
Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at signup. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
You may cancel your plan at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until that date.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
The Halo platform, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by Halo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
Content you provide (website text, knowledge base documents, system notes) remains your property. By providing it, you grant Halo a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.
The chatbot responses generated by the Service are produced by AI and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. Halo does not warrant that AI responses are error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.
Clients are responsible for reviewing and validating the accuracy of chatbot responses relevant to their business. End users should not rely on chatbot responses as professional legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Halo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Halo and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at chatbot@agencybyhalo.com. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Broward County, Florida.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date below. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
